St James is much more than a church building! We are a community of ordinary people seeking to follow Jesus and share his love in Gatley.
There are countless volunteers who help the church to continue in its mission, and we are very grateful to them all!

Jack is our vicar. He has been leading us since October 2025.

Anna looks after all our children's work and lots more beside.

Geoff is a Licenced Lay Minister and can sometimes be seen leading the service and preaching.

Mike is a churchwarden. He was elected in 2025 and in now in his second year.

Gary is a churchwarden and was elected in May of this year.
Diane
Diane
Diane is our Parish Safeguarding Officer. She supports the church in safeguarding issues and ensures groups are running smoothly with all the required risk assessments.
